  This release contains the binary (.hex) file for v0100 of the MicroDDR application firmware.

  IMPORTANT!
  There are 2 .hex files in this release. One ends in _ecee.hex and the other ends in _ece5.hex. This indicates that the USB product ID (PID) reported by the device to the host PC is either 0xECEE or 0xECE5 respectively. This is an attempt to prevent the issue where Stepmania doesn't properly remember pad mappings - having a different USB PID per pad should prevent Stepmania from getting confused when 2 pads are connected but there isn't anything to clearly identify which pad is which when it saves the mappings and reloads them later.

  Other than this the firmware is identical in the 2 .hex files. Either file can be programmed to any interface. It's possible to program the same file to both interfaces but doing so defeats the purpose of the different PIDs.
